Edward P. Borodzicz
Dr. Edward Borodzicz is currently programme director for a new MSc in Corporate Risk and Security Management at Southampton University, United Kingdom. Previously, he founded and acted as director, author and editor of the MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management at Leicester University, United Kingdom.
Borodzicz works in the field of simulating crisis scenarios for the principal emergency services and emergency planning functions in both the United Kingdom and Europe. His Ph.D. was based on an extensive investigation into the use of training exercises and simulations for crisis management used by response agencies and emergency planning functions.
As well as running a number of exercises for local authorities in the United Kingdom, Borodzicz was employed by a European Union (STEP) project as a research fellow at London University to compare disaster management arrangements in Britain with those in France Spain and Italy.
